PROFESSIONAL SATISFACTION OF PHYSIOTHERAPISTS IN PORTUGAL

Job satisfaction is a complex phenomenon because it subjective state of mind. This study evaluates the job physiotherapists working in Portugal for more than 6 months. In sample 780 physiotherapists, through application an online questionnaire that included questions individual and professional characterization related to satisfaction, was found they were moderately satisfied with profession (67.4%), positive correlation relationship between dimensions content (r=0.134; p<0.01) work compensation (r=0.180; p<0.001) years service. Lower pay general practice are associated lower levels (p<0.001).
